Which browsers does ReadMore work in?
Any Chromium-based browser: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera and more. Install it once from the Chrome Web Store and it works the same everywhere.
Where are my books actually stored?
In storage you control. On the free plan, books live in your browser on your device. With Pro, you connect your own Google Drive, Dropbox, or Synology NAS, and ReadMore keeps its own tidy folder there. We never receive or store your books.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Books you've opened are cached locally, so you can keep reading without a connection. Your reading position syncs the next time you're online.
What file formats are supported?
PDF and EPUB - the two formats that cover nearly every ebook, paper, textbook and report. Both get the full treatment: bookmarks, labels, position tracking and themes.
How does Pro activation work?
After checkout, your licence key arrives by email within moments. Paste it into the extension's options page and you're done - on up to 5 devices. No account creation, no passwords.
What happens to my books if I stop paying?
Nothing dramatic. Your books and reading data stay in your own storage - they're yours. The extension simply returns to the free plan's limits, and everything you already saved remains readable.
